This Kyoya vs Ryuga battle is my 2nd most favourite battle in the whole metal series ngl. When Madoka said that both of their attacks inflicted damage equal to that of a special move, that gave me chills. Ryuga was about to lose, and he only won because L Drago took control over him.

Ginka comes close to losing in the finale, and has to be saved by his friends. Kyoya almost loses to Ryuga, more than once, and is brought back by little more than his own sheer willpower. That's perseverance. This reminds me of S2E12 and S2E13 of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. For kids, the last episodes feel like the final battle, but for adults, the penultimate fights feel more like finales.

I’ll just say it. Kyoya only loses to plot armour. Gingka got plot armour. In s1, ryuga had plot armour and in s3 ryuga was clearly stronger but had some nonetheless. Aguma had plot armour, so did rago. And the tag team, gingka and masamune only lost coz leone failed , they had no way of winning on their own power.

I really wish we could have seen a battle between Ryuga and Reiji, keeping in mind that Reiji's number 2 he must have battled Ryuga at least once, and with his own dark move, he likely could have put up a pretty decent fight; bummer...😭

I wish reiji had more fights I really wanted to see him fight kyoka and Ryuga even tho he probably loses both battles Also I want a explanation on how he had a dark move from yu said it was like something you can learn with doji saying other than Ryuga he has a dark move But reiji says that it hurts using that so maybe they somehow forcibly extracted some of Ryuga dark power to reiji I also suspect the same for doji since a pattern for the dark moves is summoning multiple of the same avatar Ryuga and reiji does it with doji also doing it Also the little animation of reiji bey showing off three sides of it is definitely a reference to how Ryuga three dragons move to use the dark move
