I don’t stock up on package milk, but I do have some powdered milk for emergencies (non-vegan). I loved this video format. I prefer this list style video over sit down videos. You showing it in your home feels more interactive. Definitely do this style more often if possible, and a part two of what you don’t stock up on would be awesome too.

Count me in for part 2. Great video! Everything you will use and need. I've been using that same dove for years. I don't have sensitive skin, many other soaps are heavily scented. Looking forward to part 2. 😊

So satisfying to run out of something and have a backup right there and then. No need to rush to the store. You are the store 🙂. I stock up on bar soap. Floss too if it's a good kind and on sale.

You might enjoy raspberry leaf tea. It's quite nice. I would also make sure that your almond milk that you have there does not have carrageenan. Carrageenan is in many things to thicken them but it does cause a lot of inflammation in the body. You still need toilet paper with a bidet. You would use the toilet paper first and then use the bidet. The bidet keeps you cleaner but you still need to remove stuff like poop and some people use it for number one also. Do you have a good brush to use on your kitty? My kitty loved it!

I stock up on the long shelf life milk and pasta, as we use those regularly. Bathroom staples such as toothpaste, toothbrush, dental floss, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, toilet rolls. I wear minimalistic makeup, but I always have a backup of the mascara, as it seems that it can be all good, and then one day it's so crumbly even though I never use it for longer than two months. I also have a back up of the makeup sponge for applying foundation, as many times in the past when I was in a hurry/after a migraine in the morning I've dropped it behind the toilet/into the toilet/into the bathtub etc.

Thank you for the wood pellet litter tip, had never heard of it before seeing you mention it in a video. For my two cats it’s amounted to $96/year or less (11 or 12 tractor supply bags per year at around $7 each), I also just change out litter completely every 2 days, which might be overkill. I used to spend $40 a month on clay litter so $96/year is amazing, my older cat also has chronic kidney disease and is prone to UTIs, which waaay decreased when switching to pine litter.
@CVV000
@CVV000 Жыл бұрын
I have several cats and although i like the clumping litter, it is expensive and gets used very quickly. I changed to wood pellets and because theyre compressed, when they get used they actually grow, so they last longer. Best cost/quality/time ratio ive found.

If there is a Trader Joe's or Aldi anywhere near you, they are much cheaper than most grocery stores. You can get almond and Soy milk in the same kind of container for CHEAP!

You guys need to try castile soap. It works as face wash, soap, shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, and so much more. It's all natural soap and does need to be diluted.

I really enjoyed this video! Yes, Part II!!!!! Sometimes I buy the almond milk that doesn't have to be refrigerated; I actually love the convenience of it. And sometimes I buy the almond milk that does have to be refrigerated. So I'm not consistent with it. What do I stock up on as a minimalist? In a perfect world, I would only go to the store for supplies every 3 months. So I try to have enough toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, soap, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, laundry detergent, dish detergent.

I do stock up on Oat milk, which I prefer out of all the milk alternatives. Especially when oat milk is cheaper in a given week, I buy 1 or 2 extra cartons to make sure I have enough to last for a couple of weeks. I like to make my own coffee in the morning with my coffee machine = )
@Zigkiss

I buy the silk milk ( I prefer the almond-cashew blend one with 8g protein, I think you have ones with more protein in the US though). I buy unsweetened too. I will buy a couple of the shelf stable ones just to have on hand if I run out of the refrigerated carton. I love the pine pellets! We use them for our rabbits but we don't have a Tractor Supply near us so we get ours at Canadian Tire, a store here (obviously lol) I can also dump it used into our garden as rabbit waste and the broken down wood pellets are good fertilizer /mulch.

Saving hack for Milos needles. Put them in a laundry detergent container and you can still take it to the recycling for proper disposal. I do this once a month and that saves you a few dollars from the red biohazard container.

I own nearly all of these products already but I'm far from a minimalist. Plan to be, perhaps by end of year. Been selling on Mercari and doing giveaways... slow process... even more challenging when my husband and son are not minimalists either. With hygiene products, yes. With clothes, shoes, hats, & electronics, noooo! 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Soap and floss expires. If you don't see an expiration date, it may be on the outer package that it comes in, if you buy a multi pack. But all body care, skin and dental care have an expiration date. Although, I don't believe it will harm you if used past expiration. The ingredients just become lest effective.

@CVV000
@CVV000 Жыл бұрын
With the clumping you scoop the poop and pee clumps. With wood pellets you scoop the poop out and sieve the wood poweder from the pee. (Instead of clumping, it breaks down, but because it is a compressed wood pellet, it stays dry even with the pee).
