When you go back home around the wrong people things like this always seem to happen. Causing the accident that ultimately took someone’s life was bad enough, but speeding away from the scene and then declaring for the draft 2 days later is even worse. This shows a lack of integrity and no self accountability or basic compassion. This is all bad!

I’m not sad for kyren in any form or fashion. He’s an adult and made a decision and now has to live with the consequences of his actions. Stop babying him. He felt no remorse stop trying to sugar coat the facts. Declaring for the draft two days after killing someone shows that he felt no remorse. You also can’t use the he didn’t know because it was probably all over the news about a fatal hit and run. Lock his ass up, no special privileges. You wouldn’t give Billy sue any privileges so why give it to him. You wouldn’t give them any sympathy so why give it to him?

Matt’s story illustrates Kyren’s ability to learn from a mistake and grow. My mom told me growing up that the smartest people don’t have to learn from their mistakes. They can be told what not to do and observe others and know not to do certain things. Most people can’t learn from other people’s mistakes or from warnings and only learn from their own mistakes. Tragic mistake with a heavy heart that he will carry for the rest of his life.

I’m confused. Your title says they missed on another safety, but in your video the only safety target, Cooley, hasn’t committed anywhere yet. Scott is a CB and you said they decided not to pursue him. So who did they miss on? Unless Cooley has committed somewhere.

Not to make light of this situation (because a man lost his life), but everyone needs to pump the brakes on calling this kid a murderer. Meantime, the REAL "sad" story here is the innocent 78y/o former U.S. MARINE who lost his life due to the RECKLESS NEGLIGENCE of this idiot! Anyone with a brain knows full well that his NFL career dream is OVER and that he WILL be convicted at trial looking at some serious jail time > DUH!! Newsflash: he very likely fled the scene because he was either DUI or high on drugs which even a moron knows seriously increases the prison sentencing consequences and severity!

Remarkable that the State Police are “negotiating” with the player’s attorney for the suspect to turn himself in. Given the nature of the charges dating back to December 17, 2024, it’s hard to imagine why the State Police have chosen to take a “negotiated’ path here.

Brah no. I was a huge Kyren supporter but this is very disturbing. All Matt did was report what the arrest is for and the charges applied. What is disturbing more than anything else is him leaving the scene and not saying anything about till the police came looking three weeks later. If he stayed at the scene and gave an account of what happened this all would look or be recieved very differently.
