The effort that’s gone into this single episode is epic, much like the scenery and your experiences. The maps, the animated cost-breakdown, mixture of slow-mo footage and drone; such foresight! And look how well it’s coming together years later. Can’t believe you didn’t lose any footage and not sure how you managed to do the logistics of it all. Not to mention keeping the bikes going. It’s an impressive achievement. Bring on the next episode(s)- may it never end!

Cheers mate, its great to see you can appreciate the effort involved. I swear some people think its simply uploading our gopro footage evey few days haha. Even worse are the people who complain that we should have used better wind protection or taken more effort to film it.... wft. Maybe we need a support and sound crew next time haha. Next video should be out soon and the Tajik ones will be great.

Top tip to future bike + MC travelers:- If your front brake has been upside down (crash/fallen over etc) and air from the master/lever has travelled down the hose, just strap or zip tie your lever to the bar and leave it for 12-24 hours. Undo the strap, quickly pump it up, then strap again, after another 20-60 minutes will probably be fine. This allows any air trapped in the hose just below the master/lever to travel back into the master reservoir where it belongs. These guys found out the hard way that if you get air in there, its tricky to 'pump' it back up. Best plan is to use a syringe and a piece of hose with DOT fluid in it, and push it from the caliper bleed port up to ward the lever not the other way around. Krygy is great though, properly amazing MC country.

You have inspired me to take a night course before i do the long trips planned. watching you guys through this journey has been one of those weird experiences where you feel you are getting to know the both of you, i have a few questions for you if that's ok? How did you guys meet? What are your back grounds as far as riding etc and finally, as this happened a while ago, what are you doing now? please if i've overstepped the line of viewer and presenter then ignore the questions, but, im intrigued! "It could be worse"... for sure... you could be sitting at home watching this on KZbin instead of doing it! Cringing at the plan to lube the steering head bearings... I've tried that and it was a disaster... pleased it worked out for you in the end.

Haha well we were quite desperate and could wait around for weeks. The bikes were never 100% from our first few months in but thats the beutiful thing with the Dr650 it just kept on going

So good to watch your travels through this part of the world. Makes me sad though because I was about 12 months behind you guys and unfortunately the covid outbreak stopped my trip as I was about to enter Myanmar. I reunited with my DR a couple of months ago in Thailand and am now riding it back to Australia. Happy to see you videos but sad to see what I missed out on...

The brake master cylinder probably has sediment blocking the feed hole thus not allowing fluid in to replace what's been drained through the bleed screw. To remedy this, disassemble the master then blow compressed air in the reverse direction, bleeding will then be possible, good luck.

As always it is an absolute blast to watch you suffer in Failistan. Sorry about that. So. I normally rant about the eh… music in most travelvlogs. But in this case I need you to share please. Loved that cow and rabbit song. The one when you leave the poop and asbestos shelter. Killer combo btw

This series is just marvelous and very happy to see that you guys have started to edit and upload fast now. I always come with a question how you guys had managed fuel for your bikes.
@Northandleftabit
@Northandleftabit Жыл бұрын
Fuel was mostly luck and a very big tank haha. To be honest 300-400km range is enough for 99% of the time. Glad youre enjoying them so much. TAajikistan should be out soon

Lived in Kyrgyzstan for 4 yrs. You showcased the country well. But I lament that you did not take the road from Tash Rabat to At-bashy. At-Bashy is the most beautiful valley and mountain range. The view of that range is spectacular. If you guys hit KG again and for all other. Make sure you stop by At-Bashy. Its beautiful. And my favorite place in KG. Cheers!

Chanced across your channel - excellent viewing. An epic travelogue for the armchair adventurer like myself, and doubtless an inspiration to those contemplating similar trips. Love the camaraderie, in admiration of your ability to deal with adversity and cant help but be impressed by your problem solving skills - doubt I'll ever look at a swing bin in the same way again. Best wishes and safe travels.
