I think the story of him meeting Vitani then getting almost killed by Zira and him returning as an adult lion is a good story they should make Kopa a canon character so if they ever make a lion king 3 it should be about his return

Most people know he isn't cannon, but that doesn't matter! People can say he's he's if they want, it's their opinion! I personally think his story lines up pretty good with the actual lion king, Zira killed kopa for revenge on simba for killing scar, and becuase she still wanted Kovu to be king. That would explain why simba is so protective of Kiara. I dknt care if he isn't Canon, people can believe what they want
