Switzerland and now #WashingtonWizards wing Kyshawn George is a lottery sleeper in the 2024 #NBADraft. What can the Miami prospect add to his future #NBA team?

I think that the wizards an excellent job in the draft once they blend in together.they are going to be trouble.

New front office clearly seems to prioritize positional size, length, and ball skill.

He sorta reminds me of mid/late career Nic Batum and Kyle Anderson. Big wing with some playmaking ability and solid defensive instincts but lacks the athleticism to really standout. If his shooting holds up in the NBA, that could really raise his ceiling however.

Current-ish Nic Batum is a comp I have written down for Kyshawn, so I'm with you all the way. It's also why I think he's scalable to a wider range of teams than he's given credit for. Thanks for watching!

Kyshawn has what Orlando has liked physically other than burst, but really importantly, he can add three-point shooting as well. Plus, I like the fit with next to Paolo since the ball is gonna be going through Banchero most of the time for Orlando’s foreseeable future. Long term, could be thought of as a backcourt replacement for Markelle Fultz, and he adds spacing around Anthony Black if we’re also factoring him in.

I can see a wide range of outcomes for him, most likely that he’s just a low tasked shooter but I see a little bit of Brandon Ingram in his game with the size and playmaking feel, and similar defensive profiles.The only issue is the lack of rim pressure and would need improvement with self created shooting.

What’s really important for me, and you hit on this, is that he already has some sort of dependable base level skill when it comes to shooting threes, making decisions on the move, and defending guards. That gives Kyshawn a lot of paths down the line, like you’re saying.

@@FloorandCeiling G league time is probably best for him as a player as it will develop his on ball game more although I think his shooting could thrust him into the back end of a rotation right way. And if he learns those skills in the nba I would be very impressed.

@@dontworryidontknowwhereyou7972 Agreed, As a Miami fan his playmaking was very advanced in spite of selfish play from the team but he is still growing into his body and adjust to the speed.

He reminds me of Ousmane Dieng of the Thunder.
@FloorandCeiling
@FloorandCeiling 13 күн бұрын
I can understand why, but I'll say that Dieng was a lot less comfortable off-ball than Kyshawn. Dieng struggled at first in the NBL when he had to play as a spot-up-in-the-corner guy, then turned it around in the second half of the season when he had more on-ball reps, and he's also had to adjust in the NBA to not playing with the ball in his hands. Meanwhile, I think the goal with Kyshawn has to be starting him away from the ball and then eventually bringing him on the ball. With Dieng, it seems like it's the opposite (started his career more on the ball, NBA role is away from it).

@@FloorandCeiling yes I think you are right. I watched a lot of Dieng’s minutes this past year with the Thunder and Kyshawn George’s on-ball play reminds me of his. Both have similar average athleticism but have good playmaking/passing off the dribble with a developing shot creation/step back move. Dieng has struggled getting separation for clean looks due to his lack of speed and athleticism. I do think Kyshawn is a better shooter than Dieng with his more efficient stats.

I wouldn't be a huge fan of the Lakers drafting Kyshawn, even though I'm high on him. I think my favorite first round target for the Lakers is Tristan da Silva.

Will you be doing an updated video on Bobi Klintman?
@FloorandCeiling
@FloorandCeiling 12 күн бұрын
I think Bobi has more or less stayed the same as last season. He had a decent year in a more narrow role, but didn’t really show anything new imo. I’d pick him in the 25-35 range.
