This is crazy. I was just thinking about Kysre less than half an hour ago. Kysre didn’t even play up to 20 minutes last season so it is so hard for me to judge how well she would have performed. She seemed to have shooting potentials though. I don’t think they should bring her back if they cannot guarantee that they have a need for her on the team.

Kyrse didn't deserve to be waived from Chicago Sky and she should be on a WNBA team roster next season. Chicago Sky barely gave her any time to play in any games. This my take on the situation with Chicago Sky. She was receiving more recognition than the franchise players on the team. I don't know if she and Jaylen Brown was dating, but he definitely help elevate her brand for endorsements and fashion. When she makes her comeback in the WNBA will definitely bring a fanbase and more revenue for herself. The WNBA salary isn't enough for anyone, but she can model and be an athlete.

The Fever picked her surprisingly high at number 4 in the WNBA Draft, but has been waived twice and has only played in only 24 games in two seasons. I think she knows that she can make more money off the basketball court, but would love to see her play.

Kysre is hard to read 🤔 at times she seems to really love basketball and prioritizing it; then times she comes across like she wants to be famous and be a celebrity? Word has it that the Sky was annoyed that she had some type of pregame outfit deal with some Brand and would put more effort and energy into her outfits than the games? I don’t know if that’s true but it does make sense seeing she would look like a runway model arriving at the games! Let me preference my next comment by saying *I DON’T CONDONE ANY FORM OF VIOLENCE BESIDES IN SELF DEFENSE, NOR DO I BLAME ANY VICTIM OF VIOLENCE* however the fact that Kysre had a relationship with someone she originally claimed attacked her then recanted her story; shows you the type of person she is which makes her hard to read! Now she’s dating and appears to be clout chasing off another professional athlete - Jaylen Brown when he kind of treats her like a groupie or afterthought IMO! There’s no way she shouldn’t be playing basketball at 27 and capable unless she’s toxic on some level! At this point she’d be better off signing a modeling contract with FORD MODELING AGENCY or BMG

To be fair, maybe the reason her stats are so low is because she didn’t get much playing time. On the other, the reason why she probably wasn’t getting much playing time is because she wasn’t cutting it.

Kysre is more interested in being a model/celebrity and that’s why she keeps getting waived. The fact no team picked her up speaks volumes. However she can shoot 3s off ball screens and is good enough regardless to be player 10-12 on a roster. I’m guessing $ has something to do with it as well.

There is nothing wrong with her skills. She once scored 72pts in a game once. How many people can do that? You can't go by her stats, because she rarely ever got any playing time. Geneva, you watched the games last season. How many times did you see Kysre on the court? TSpoon didn't give Kysre any playing time, because she was obsessed with trying to make Dana Evans be the starting PG. Kysre wasn't given a fair opportunity to showcase her abilities. The Sky SHOULD bring Kysre back, because she is an excellent 3pt shooter & the Sky need 3pt shooters.

​@@twilight14971 Not necessarily. A lot of good WNBA players get cut or traded multiple times...Skylar Diggins Smith, Odyssey Sims & Mo Billings, to name a few. Look at what happened to Gabby Williams & Chennedy Carter. Marina Mabrey has been traded away 4 times in 5 years. It's not always about talent and skills. I don't know the TRUE reason why Kysre was chosen to get cut from the Sky, but I bet it wasn't because of skills. Regardless, I still would love to see Kysre get another opportunity with the Chicago Sky.

Spoon was forced to play Dana. It was obvious if you watched the post-game pressers. Kysre can play, though. She is a shooter/scorer and can defend. Idk what the deal is with her. Seems to me she’d be playing overseas rn if she really wanted to play prof or in the WNBA.
