This happened in 1995. Mind boggling and ahead of it's time. I don't think my 14 year old brain would have been able to handle such awesomeness.

the most far out thing in mainstream metal at this time was Korn. unreal that this was made at the same time

It was even crazier to see live at the time.

How the fuck is this even possible in 95. This bands talent is fucking unreal. Always has been always will be

Turn of the lights, take shrooms, turn your hifi to 80db and listen to whole Through Silver in Blood album. Once in a lifetime experience.

Anes Slatina that sounds like one of the most abusive things you could do to yourself. You’d either be utterly psychologically shattered by the music or revert back into a primal beast only satiated by flesh.

@@Sighbot That's what's great about music (and drugs ofc) : seeing the world without filter (or with a filter that makes everything fascinating, kinda same thing). Streetcleaner, Scorn's Vae Solis, Warhorse's As Heaven Turns to Ash and Funeral Mist's Maranatha are other perfect ones for sacred savage violence. Haunting visions of apocalypse. Never took shrooms yet, only tried on mdma or dxm, but it was still great. What I liked most when on drugs was death industrial tho. Brighter Death Now's Necrose Evangelicum is the obvious choice, and still the best one. Check it out if you don't already know it and if you're open for some slow, deep and hard noise.

LANGOUSTE UH Yeah. I’d actually been interested in doing something like that because being afraid or anxious gets me a rush of euphoria and I also like wallowing in pain and reality from time to time, it feels strangely good.

Saw in 1990,91,92 I did not know that this was the apex of my musical listening life, thousands of bands and a handful come close to the level of antidiluvian energy, beyond pure metal affectations, beyond punk aggression, this is tribal, protoindoeuropean rye ergot , handfuls of mushrooms after a battle where all your friends died, you sit alone, howling into the sky...somehow they heard this while on their own trip and this song by some unknown caveman comes ripping us a new soul maw. Or somehting

I was born in DC in 1971 & grew up in the DMV & you know how some people start to feel bigger than where they grew up ? I hated this area when I was 19-20 & the 1 saving grace was the 9:30 club…..I found out a little later about other places but that was my entrance into this….world ? 🤷🏼♂️🤔I miss shows like this 😞y’all be safe 🖤
