How have you guys not played this yet? This game is awesome, has a lot of moments that makes you panic to the point it's funny sometimes, when you actually play the game right. -Every enemy is sensitive to sound AND light so crouch and lights off whenever you enter a room. The one with the scanner is in charge of looking out for the enemies and guiding all of you while you walk through the room in the dark, so someone always has to bring one unless you're feeling brave. -The enemy has a "nearly alerted state" where it wiggles around at its position, all of you just need to stop moving around and they'll calm down. Once the enemy calms down, you can move again and attempt to kill them with a FULL CHARGED melee specifically at their heads or back since the damage is doubled, which you can do by holding the melee button down before releasing, this game needs a lot of cooperation since killing one in close proximity of another enemy will also trigger them. -As for security doors with those security scans, the common tactic would be making sure to bring at least 2 turrets and 1 seafoam. Check the map for DOORS that can be closed and reopened before you activate the security sequence, you can use these to your advantage because those are the only places where the enemies will be coming from. Put a turret outside these doors and close it because it will help thin out the horde. Once it is closed, you can shoot seafoam or use a seafoam grenade to cover the closed doors to make it more durable since enemies will try to break through it whenever it is closed and in their way, giving you more time to do the security scans before all hell breaks loose. You are supposed to charge the hammer before hitting the monsters with it. Also you can't run around they can hear you. You are supposed to move crouched behind them and smack them with the charge hammer. The guns are only for when you are in the security areas with the horde.
