So far, this is one of the most emotional songs that made me carried away. The justification of the song is there. You will really feel the real emotion of the song. She sang "Say Something" like it's her own masterpiece. By her rendition, the real emotion of the song was unleashed. The real message was sent out. She may not be the singer most of us Filipinos are requesting to be part of this competition, but look at how she raised our flag in the most prestigious and the biggest singing competition in China. She made us all proud. That's more than enough to be called a new generation heroine in the music industry. I would like to pin point as well the guy from the audience that was focused multiple times during KZ Tandingan's performance. I may not know his sexual orientation and gender identification but I know that deep inside of his heart, he was captivated, he was moved and he was showered with KZ's message. And I guess that's priceless. He may be bashed with his fellow Chinese countrymen because of his actions, but he just showed his emotion, what he felt from the bottom of his heart when he saw KZ singing this song.

Barely 24 hours before the show started, a producer, asked KZ to CHANGE her program and sing instead "Say Something". KZ was distraught and literally slumped on the floor (caught on video)! Makoy Portado her guitarist was flown in from the Philippines and that night they rehearsed on KZ's interpretation of "Say Something". The following day, a sleep-deprived KZ accompanied by a single guitar gave us another heart-wrenching performance. She later thanked profusely the Chinese band who came to her rescue as she hits the high notes towards the end of her song.

hi Sam and Josh. I totally agree. KZ and Zia made such an impact on you from the start. There was a brief interview by abs-cbn where KZ has mentioned that Jessie J. gives her great encouragement and tell her these performances will help them get more exposure to the Chinese music audience. KZ thinks there is NO PRIZE MONEY for this competition_ but recognition (she now gets stopped in the Chinese Malls for photo ops and autograph). WE all love KZ and wish her the best. Thanks.

Actually guys that's not her fighting song for that season because management of the "singer 2018" didn't allow her to sing her choice of song so kz invites her personal guitarist to join her on stage.
