Dripping in hendrix and chilli peppers, best thing about New Zealand parties is you get to hear every type of music you can imagine and we love it all.

I’m trying to put the guitar tune I heard before from another song. It on the tip of my tongue It might be a hot chilli pepper song but it sounds familiar ummm . I love their songs because they all old school with a Lab twist to it. Are they in US, good on them. Joel you give you free tickets

Nice reaction, Good to see you're keeping an eye on what's happening with L.A.B. Loaded Question - Having experience music from around the world, Do What's your preference - Artist, Genre and Country? Did your daughter start taking Guitar lessons or has she moved onto something else?
@JohnnyReactions Жыл бұрын
Nah she didn't in the end up, she wanted to try something else but coincidentally has just recently asked to do it again, I have quite a weird preference in music because I listen to everything, I think every culture, genre and country has their own positives, what I really like at the minute is people either sampling or using styles from the 80s and 90s, these for me are be best eras in music or the very early 2000s. I think because of the household I lived in as a child I grew up listening to artists like meatloaf, queen, guns n roses I appreciate 'live' music or real bands more, but then on the other hand the early 2000s was when I first really listened to music so the likes of Eminem, Nelly, Sean Paul, Wu Tang will mostly be my go to tracks.

@@JohnnyReactions That was very...ahhh... Diplomatic!!!🤣 Intelligent girl - Sounds like your daughter has been exploring, finding what she likes, trying to figure out what she wants to focus all her energy on🤘.When sampling is done tastefully, aka the Classical Latin/Spanish Guitar in L.A.B's "Mr Reggae", I don't mind or Ditto changing the arrangement/genre of originals, aka "Postmodern Jukebox" or John Farnham's cover of the Beatles classic "Help - Live from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra" can have spectacular results. Every generation will always be biased towards the music they grew up with, Personally I like music from most era's with a preference towards Melodic, Soulful, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Funk and Reggae, Rock, Country. As long as it has Real musicians, Real Instruments, BV's, Great Vocals, Live performances and positive easy listening VIBES, I'm HAPPY!!!,
