Interesting. Something new for me. I expect already that this couple may find some "dislikers", this is a question of choice and taste in kizomba. Quant a moi, I like this footwork. Amazing: they play with music so accurate that it makes you keep an eye on them during all the song! bravo.

This is kizomba. Kizomba dance is a free style. In Angola you see very different ways to dance kizomba. Each one Angolan dance in accordance with its hability. Angolan people do all you see here and much more. It comes from many many years ago.

We don't apply none of those moves in our dance therefore, stop talking out of your ass.

Blaise Shakur You eventually will.. You don't cuz you're a noob ^^ Like we say in Pt - "Dumb voices don't reach the havens " .. So stop talking out of your ass ;) .. Or at least know what you're saying before speaking.

ouh nicely done - it's 4 years ago! :) definitely your style has changed a lot - but seeing the same foundation there - flowy leg slides :) that's evolution!

different style available, some are more sensual other more technical, I think we called this the feeling and interpretation nothing more. maybe some passes are working, but you can see 1min 30 that it is the man who guide. great dancers

Hello. Thanks for sharing this video. But I find it hard to follow the basic step for ladies. In particular, I don't understand how to move the butt. I am told that the butt makes waves upward along the spine, not like bachata in which it moves from side to side. But as I watch video, I feel like it is moving from side to side. Could you please help me out? Thank you in advance.

Hao Dinh Search on youtube for Sara Lopez Lady Style kizomba. She is one of the best that can teach you that lady part in kizomba. Or just search for Lady style kizomba. ;)

When you go to a class they normally tell you that you have to move your hips as you wrote, and you are right, not like in bachata. But after you see many dancers and you take more classes you realize people move their hips in many different ways. I guess moving them upward is just a basic that we have to learn

Very noticable that the woman is leading and not the man, or this has been rehearsed excessively. The man should be the "leader"...

Blaise Shakur Still.. Can you lead better than him?? Show us then xD .. He can do whatever he wants, he has done a good job leading ;) and at least he's being himself while leading. That's what dance should all be about. Having fun, expressing one true feelings and desire. Loved it ^^

Nicholas Lavres You need to dance accordingly, you can't just throw any moves and call it Kizomba you dummy, this is not how my culture operates. You can personally create your own dance moves but don't call it Kizomba if it's in this form, call it something else because we do not approve this shit. There are Do's And Don'ts in every dance style.
@Nlaw189 жыл бұрын
Don't know where you are from but I, myself Am from the culture where we dance and develop kizomba since the latest 80s in Africa. So, Here's the "Do's and Dont's" in dancing (particularly kizomba) So, you can affirm that in Angola they dance the same style as in Cabo Verde or Sao Tome and Prince? Well, as the same as this video, they have the same basics but the rest, not really, the same as for salsa in all the Latin countries, If you look at it, can you say it is the same? But they all call it Salsa, I wonder why.. As a dancer let this dummy educate you.. The only think in common a dance of whatever style has from one place to another and in different cultures is the basics.. That means, bits, rhythm and steps. Once you start playing with it something really weird happens, choreography and styles starts to develop.. Ow wait, is not weird at all.. it's just the course of nature -.- that's called progression. You may even be African and believe that your culture is the father of kizomba but you've lost that child to the world long time ago. And know that this dummy can and will educate you in this matter with just simple and logical facts. Btw, the don'ts?? There are none, as the freedom of expression demands, you've got no argument in here mate.. And and at least do some researches before badmouthing what other can do that you can't.. otherwise you wouldn't bother with this.. at all.

Nicholas Lavres you wrote bunch of nothing. I'm Angolan, I live in Angola and we invented the dance and music, you just jumped on the bandwagon.

The French created something that's not kizomba. Some kind of urban style full of tricks with a few kizomba moves. Nothing to do with Angola anymore.
