@@TheCreatorNFE well it goes to show the advancement of time and the culture of both personalities, as Biggs was born and lived through roughly the era of red dead redemption 1 the 1900's, and then suffered through World War 1 and held it down in LA for 2, while Phelps had everything handed to him in SF in the roaring 20's and joined the military purely for the glory and to make a name for himself and the only thing he could think of was the big name ticket items while Biggs just wanted to survive, as a Wrist Watch was a rarity and a specality item back then, and even seen as Feminine rather than masculine until Babe Ruth Wore them and made them famous as most people had pocket watches that they manually wound every time they woke up and most watches of the era were manual as well too, hell rolex was one fo the first to make automatic self winding waterproof cased watches and they were working watches, you bought them once and you were set for life provided you dont leave it on the train tracks like the one you got probably lol and that watch in particular is not just a normal tell time and your done watch, its a chronograph, which could be used to messure distance and fuel consumption to help with the caculations to keep a plane in the air hence the flyboys comment thing, as remember their was no caculators, everything was done manually back then, and they even used Rolex chronographs for the great escape to time the guards and how long they were on their rounds and it could show Phelps love of what he viewed military glory to be, while briggs knows their is none, you do a job, get it done, and go home. hence why well he doesnt have many friends in the department, while phelps through his desire for glory and redemption brought everyone up with him did, either by accident, fortitude, or glory seeking such as the guy on the vice desk who wanted to corrupt him and use him as his tool for whatever he deemed fit only to find he was so set in his ways that the last thing you wanted was him around, hence how he got put their with briggs in the first place.

This video is the best representation of why this game is a must play. Eventhough it's missing the great music.
