Thats mainly the reason why team bondi went into bankruptcy after the production of this game , imagine hours of captures , thousands of actors , building a new tech from scratch like they did .

Initially the project was a sony game back in 2005 but the costs got so demanding for sony , that they sold it to Rockstar and the project was mess generally , thousands of 10 hours + work crunches , peoples that got their names removed from the credits because of the director seeing those who left the company as traitors

from my experience in watching animated shows where a woman named Andrea Romano hires the voice acting, I came to appreciate and respect not just voice actors, but live actors who get in front of the mike too especially, so when I find out certain people I like are spitting into the foam (talking into the mic), I love it and was very surprised to see some of the stars here than I never would have imagined would agree to do any voice acting, it's awesome to see these surprises

I recently found out that some of the actors in this game did stuff for Criminal Minds... Fischler played the mobster Jack Fahey in the episode called Lauren. Todhunter played as the serial killer in the episode called The Stranger. Adam J Harrington played as the serial killer in the episode called #6. Matthew Del Negro played Detective David Rizzo in the episode called Carbon Copy. Keith Szarabajka played the Detective Marty Friedman in the episode called All That Remains.

I really think L.A Noire set the bar really high with the acting and facial software , I believe video games are going to be used for movies or TV dramas so the audience can be apart of the action

LA Noire really gave us one of the most unique experiences in gaming. The closest we've come to an interactive Hollywood film with recognizable faces. I was watching Mad Men around the same time I was playing it and I really like how I was really playing as Aaron Staton and not just his voice.

This is basically "Hey I know that person, but I don't know their name" The Game. Although Phelps wasn't the person I thought he was, again I can't remember their name. Some recognisable faces for sure, but they had modified some of the faces I noticed, in order to suit the time period. I have seen a video where the women had to have their hair tied back, so it wouldn't interfere with the face capture.
