Great piece of opera, video quality and sound quality a good, always brings a little tear to my eye, shame they don't show opera pieces on terrestrial tv anymore in the UK

Carreras is the best Nemorino. Brilliant. With Cotrubas are a great couple. Why is there no official record on DVD??? I do not understand ... Thank you for the video.

Cotrubas und Carreras sangen in L'elisir auch zusammen in London. Die offizielle Aufnahme wurde aber (leider) mit Domingo gemacht. Zwar immer noch meine Lieblingsaufnahme, aber mit Carreras wäre es für mich die definitive Aufnahme geworden...
