I have the Internationale as my ringtone on my phone (in Russian) It is easy for me to recognise when it rings and causes some consternation among those standing near me. Some smile, some frown and some look bewildered. I tend to converse with the smilers.

Beautiful song! I listened to it every day from childhood on until I was 29. Communists have beautiful slogans: Equality, fairness, justice and prosperity. When they put Marxism into practice, however, everything went awry and the communist empire was overthrown by their slaves from 1989-1991.
