Most of us know Ato Tamiru in Washington D.C. in the 90s when he owned Merkato. I still have his cook book. Merkato was a place we all remember for a taste of Ethiopia. What I knew about Ato Tamiru then was very different than what it is now. I don’t know what to say. Don’t want to be very negative but he was very savvy business man. I couldn’t imagine how has his life changed.
