Had been holding this video for a long time. At first, I wanted to release it alongside a Yumeko document, but I've realized that it ain't coming until at least next year (only around 1/3 is done and I basically have no time right now). Well, very "hot" take for most of the community 😅. Canon L could possibly win, but I just don't see him going close to her when it comes to categories like Manipulation, Deception, EQ, Strategy, ... and when it comes to his strong points, like intellect-related categories, she takes some of them and comes close to him in the others. L outscales in any outsmarting situation, people tend to make L look just like a defenssive character, and that he is not able to deceive or manipulate someone, even if Yumeko has good feats, people forgot who he was facing off, even within, L stood up, his intuition is out this dimension, Yumeko is never deceiving him and neither manipulating him like Light never did

L Mid-High diffs (+) her, close to Light and still his victim. L takes IQ, EQ>= and Deception + Reasoning, thinking, Gardner's theory + Crystallized intel>=, etc. Countering and AQ too but close, Psychoanalysis + Setting traps + Risk calculation, Foresight + Intuition, Info gathering + Control. Yumeko takes Manipulation, Observation (could go either way) + Perception, Strategy + Planning>=, adaptability>= (Environmental and situational, while L takes field skills and multi-tasking) and SI.

How does Yumeko take intelligence when L takes Fluid and Crystallized L takes fluid easily tbh he takes learning ability + LR which are the corner stones of fluid intel. Crystallised due to Wammy statements And he takes General + Gardener theory (Existential,linguistic,logical-mathematical,intrapersonal,naturalistic,musical(maybe),) Yumeko takes Spatial,interpersonal,musical(maybe) So L slams in FSIQ(PSI,VCI,FRI)and intelligence

Yumeko takes gardner theory, she takes existential, logical-mathematical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and visual spatial. And Yumeko might or might not take PSI (hex conversion feat)

Existential intel L is a lot more of a philosopher than Yumeko and has far better abstract thinking and L not being ignorant of the possibility of magic is also another good feat of his existential intel also his speech on monsters is also very abstract. Intrapersonal L has better self management and self regulation aswell as composure.

@@upper_moon1727 Yumeko takes Logical-mathematical through the TOD feat, iirc L hasn't really showed anything that inherently suggests high mathematical capability, his reasoning is really good but so is Yumeko's even if he outclasses her in that regards. Existential goes to Yumeko via her repeated statements about the value of life and how gambling further exercises it within a complex realm of despair. She takes Intrapersonal because of her deep understanding of her own values and how it invigorated and affected not only her, but the people around her, she has an extraordinary level of self awareness which is further supported by her numerous speech about gambling such as her speech during her gamble with Sumeragi, Kaede, or Terano.

Also L has the same level of self awareness and he also understands himself that’s how he is able to profile Light so accurately, he also has better self management and self regulation and comfortably take intrapersonal. Existential is very vague but I would still go with L, purely due to his speech + being open minded of the death note and also his interpretation of Lights psyche is existential intelligence as he thought like light as understood light was playing god it takes existential intelligence to arrive at that conclusion. In any case this category is a little subjective but we can both agree they are Johan victims in Intrapersonal + existential so it’s chill

@@MitukoKamaroji55 thanks! Creating a profile of Kira isn’t necessarily EP and for the most part it isn’t. EP is The ability to perceive emotions in others through facial expression, body language, pictures, voices. For the most part, L’s profiling wasn’t done by that. He wasn’t even in front of Light when doing it, so, for the most part, it doesn’t qualify. I would make a better argument for EU than EP with this feat.

I mean I already had her beating L in extreme difficulty. Although, I can tell a lot of people been underestimating her. I know 100 fictional characters that Yumeko can beat, but I also know 80 fictional characters that Yumeko can be beaten by. This is my list of gamblers that I have for outsmarting and for gambling are as follows(1-best and 10- worst) 1. Akagi Shigeru 2. Baku Madarame 3. Akiyama Shinichi 4. Tokuchi Toua 5. Kaiji Itou 6. Dahn Gunwoo 7. Yuuichi Katagiri 8. Tomu Shirasagi 9. Yumeko Jabami 10. Gen Suzuki Things can change my mind in the future, I can have Tomu be overtaken in the future by Yumeko, but currently no.

@@J4y_t 1.Isn’t Tomodachi Game just consecutive gambling matches. Sure, it isn’t the traditional gambling matches but they are still games that you have to pass. Not to mention, Yuuichi stated it in order to let everyone guards down not to mention he got really better on. 2.I mean it’s your honest opinion at the end of the day, I still have Kaiji > Yumeko since Kaiji opponents were better cheaters and stronger to counter, not to mention the near impossible scenarios he got out from by his planning and strategies.

@@hasemtrejo1571 I dont scale Kaiji that high and i believe that Yumeko's situations were much more complex And about Tomodachi Game, nope. They arent playing gambles at all. Yuuichi himself says that he hates gambling and gambles, he never understands gamblers (he thinks that they have to be filthy rich, dumb or simply nut) and he says that even if you read your opponent's mind clearly and play excellent, you can lose the thing named strong luck too. In that way, yall are considering Tomodachi Game like lootless Hunger Games and PA scalers considers it intuition based verse (since all they states that they relies on their intuitions)

@@J4y_t Really wow, this must be the first time I heard a person saying Kakegurui has more complex situations compared to Kaiji. I don’t know, I need more convincing things having read Kakegurui and Kaiji part 3 and 4. I can still say Kaiji had better feats, not to mention being better overall gambler, although in the latest chapter of Kakegurui, Yumeko is about to face experienced adult gambling characters so this might change. As for the Tomodachi Games, I see it how it is. Later on, I would re-read the manga from beginning to end, to have better judgement on the matter.

@@hasemtrejo1571 Yumeko's potential is literally unknown on the where she says that she can do everything for have a gamble which all skills and cheatings are meaningless. This "statemently" carries her more above when i also consider statements with feats. About complexity of the situation, i can say that money isnt only thing that Yumeko bets on. Even though she is just an 'ordinary' 18 years old high school girl, she accepted falling from Tower without any hesitate, she didnt even react or didnt even literally feel something when Midari points a gun on her forehead, she didnt even scare about finger cutting torture tool, she is even a "kakegurui" who can let her opponent to have judgement of her life (We saw that when she became a pet) with the condition of have a fun gamble and more. Also, we shouldnt forget that all of her opponents were making complex cheatings while she bets even on her own life without any hesitate, and all of them were much more influental and richer than her and placements they were gambling were pretty unstable by conditions (lots of people watching, talking, and even the celcius of room is important as will depend on how your opponent is cheating etc so you should keep your motivation, charisma and stress in a pretty control and should observe/reason everything greatly) With that, i can give a promise about there are so seldomly characters in SCD that can save from psychology of losing yourself life and focus on solving mahjongs, problems and cheatings in these gambles but no one can prove cuz none of characters are in same verse.
