I've done the purple the ombré way my hairs blonde I love L'Oreal colourista im going to do pink soon. Yours looks great.

it faded green because you started with a green base! the actual dye is purple so it wouldn't fade green if the base was light enough/had no color. the end result was great though, just thought i'd respond to what you said in your description.
