Welcome to my review of the Lr baggs m80. As a professional teacher and musician first and foremost, my reviews are more than simply talking about equipment. My aim is to teach whilst reviewing equipment and to provide a different angle and insight into the products I review.
Having used the L. R. Baggs M80 magnetic pickup for nearly a decade I wish to provide a practical review of living with the pickup whilst simultaneously using this video as a vehicle to provide a lesson about magnetic pickups in general.
To hear my playing using this pickup I recorded my own piece Waiting for Dawn a few weeks before making this review.

Please be aware the sound in that video is a mix of the sound from the m80 and the ambient sound from the Canon 600D I used to film it.
The LR Baggs m80 is easy to install and will fit almost all acoustic guitars. Simply check the diameter of your acoustic guitar's sound hole is larger than 3.55" (90mm).
Warm wishes to all
Pete
