WOW! Marvelous! And its execution is superb! From anthology! Thanks also for the information where to find the score: on IMSLP it is given as op. 37 and not 39; since "the appetite comes with eating", it could also delight us with the Notturno op. 39 that I see on the site? (Google Translate)

beautiful playing & your sense of rubato here is, i believe, in the 19th century style... authentic & personal & it reminds me of Grieg's own recording of his "Butterfly" piece (elsewhere on youtube)

yes, i think my way of playing leans more to the 19th century side than modern style.

WOW! Meraviglioso! E la sua esecuzione è superlativa! Da antologia! Grazie anche per l'informazione dove reperire lo spartito: su IMSLP è dato come op. 37 e non 39; siccome "l'appetito vien mangiando", potrebbe deliziarci anche col Notturno op. 39 che vedo sul sito?

Gamma has made several videos on where he gets his material and how you can locate it. (He also links to one in the description of this video!) For example the Sabinin Op.5 is partially on IMSLP which can easily be found by googling "Sabinin Op.5"

Great playing as usual, but I would prefer a little less rubato for this one. My head hurts from all the triplets and syncopations in the 2nd part

This piece is typically Hungarian romantic. Not sure about why Wikipedia shows his bio in Hungarian only (and .... Espéranto.... ) .... c'mon some Hungarian person of good will may issue at least an English stub onto Wikipedia..... I'm sure this guy may deserve a better treatment

@@mike-williams I know perfectly how Wiki works! Did you read what I wrote (some Hungarian person of good will may issue at least an English stub)? Do you think I know Hungarian and translate from Hungarian into English? Perhaps your chance if you know that language?
@mike-williams
@mike-williams 3 жыл бұрын
@@pietrolandri6081 I responded to "Not sure about why Wikipedia shows his bio in Hungarian only" with the exact answer. There is a huge amount of articles not translated between Wikipedia languages - or compeltely different articles in each language where they do exist. You don't need to know Hungarian to create a stub, and even then you could use Google translate to create a perfectly serviceable longer article. If you want something done, do it yourself.

@@mike-williams and I responded to your answer whose tone I dilsike! How the hell can I write a stub in English if I don't know anything about that person??? How the hell can I do it by using other people job and translating it from a language I know no evil??? By using Google translator is not the answer because, first and foremost I have no control of what I translate as I ignore the origin language (and this would be amateurish that is exactly the value of your suggestion!!!) Moreover Google translator is totally unreliable when it comes to translate from a language into another whose nature is quite remote from the origin language (and in this case I KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! ALREADY EXPERIMENTED IN PERSON!!!). That's why I wrote and suggested that an Hungarian person who knows also English should do the job PROFESSIONALLY AND NOT ON AN AMATEUR FASHION ON THE CONTRARY AS YOUR SILLY SUGGESTION! Thus, don't try and babysit me - as an arrogant teacher would do. You don't know me at all and I don't allow you to use this tone with me!!! It is totally unrespectful, superficial and inappropriate! Use your arrogance to lecture yourself.

@@pietrolandri6081 I'm sorry that you didn't like the tone of a comment that expressed confidence in your ability to create a simple Wikipedia stub. It's unfortunate that you perceive such confidence in you as an arrogant attack. I hope you can find enjoyment in your rage.
