Eine ganz großartige Interpretation der “Sturmsonate“! Interpretiert mit großer Reife: Im 1. Satz brillant die Gegensätze zwischen langsamen und schnellen Passagen, mit großer Dramatik. Der 2. Satz: ein einziges großes, „rundes“ Rezitativ. Trotz dieser beiden vollständig gelungenen Sätze wird dann der 3. Satz zum denkbar eindrücklichsten Finale: Die Atemlosigkeit dieses Perpetuum mobile gestaltet Colin Pütz mit einem zwar schnellen, aber nicht zu schnellen Tempo und steigert so noch seine Wirkung, weil er so jede einzelne Stimme unglaublich transparent erklingen lässt - „da capo senza fine“ … immer weiter mag diese herrliche Musik in uns klingen. Bravissimo, Colin!

Wonderfully tempestuous! I love those quiet but disquieting arpeggios that lead towards the raging storm! I noticed your use of the left pedal. What effect do you use it for? When I play I limit myself to just the right pedal :) At 8.10min-8.25min: I wonder if, by playing this a little slower, whether you could create more tension and anticipation which then resolves itself in tempestuous form in the following bars? Wonderful performance. One of my favourite Beethoven sonatas ever! Gut gemacht! BRAVO!

Thank you 🙂 Playing it like I did in respected section is closer to how it is composed. Usage of left pedal was due to specifics of the piano.
