Xiao Liu's sister married and moved far away. She travelled a long distance to help look after Kai Kai, cook meals for the family including special confinement food for Lawu. What a loving family! I think grandma Liu has only two children - Xiao Liu and his sister. The woman who is the mother of Little Tutor is actually Xiao Liu's cousin. (He confuses us by calling her sister too). Little Tutor teaches Lawu how to read, write and speak Mandarin (Chinese).❤

Grandma/MIL is a little out of touch with caring for a newborn. She should know not to hold a 3 day old baby across her shoulder with little support. Baby should be held across the her chest on his side and gently rub his back to release air. So, I am happy to see Xiao Liu take an active role in the care of his son. Poor Lawu, she's such a good puppet that sits there and allow everyone else care for her baby. I really feel bad for her that she has so little control, but she doesn't seem to mind. If it were me, I'd be quietly planning my escape! I'm nobody's puppet.

There is a language barrier, but it seems non-existent as they are using the common language of love and goodwill. Im happy to see big sister still there and enjoying her nephew. It's funny to see Xiao Lui and his mum offer opposing opinions on what's best for the baby but he should heed some of her advice, mums often know best from experience. Lawus mum is so comfortable now it's lovely.
