Rose your doing an amazing job, congratulations! I am of the opinion that placing the baby so close to edge of the bed, is not safe. She should be placed in the middle of the bed, if you are leaving the room.

I agree. However since she's recording content, I suspect someone else is in the room with Yue Yue when she leaves. As she's mentioned in the past, she has a team of people who work with her behind the scenes to help her create content. Which is why, you see video as she moves from one room to the other and one location to the other.

There is no such thing as an expert when it comes to raising a child. Newborn or not. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so many children ending up dead or injured daily around the world. I know women who have made mistakes resulting in injuries to their children despite having raised other children before that one. If you believe mothers are perfect, I have a bridge I'd love to sell you in the desert. 🤣

Chinese have a special relationship with hot/warm water. So it’s their own thing. WHO recommends introducing water at 6 months along with complementary food

Rose has people who help her create video content. It's possible someone is in the room with Yue Yue when she's not. Which is why, she isn't afraid to leave her lying close to the edge of the bed. And why she closes the door when she leaves. Otherwise, how could she possibly hear her when she cries? I'm hoping that's the case since yes, leaving her alone that close to the edge of the bed is dangerous if she's not being watched by someone. My sister was placed in the middle of the bed and still managed to roll off the bed when she was a newborn. She hit a concrete floor but wasn't seriously injured.

Wu Jianyun is very conscientious. The new house will be fabulous. I wonder what will become of the quaint lovely old home? It may not be as big or shiny and new, but it has such a homely joy about it and equally great views of the region. Wu's first priority on returning home was to see his precious baby girl, comfort and food could wait. So easy to throw the food in the microwave but Rose insisted on giving her husbands dinner the " wok hei" I agree with her. It is always delightful to see Rose and Wu chatting at the end of the day. Relaxed,happy and well fed 😊

Yue Yue is so adorable. In America, we don’t give babies as young as Yue Yue water. I did with my first child, but things changed by the time I had my youngest child. The American Pediatrician Association believes it can throw off their delicate electrolyte system. As a healthcare professional, I know medicine is not an exact science. New research and developments are being made everyday and recommendations and practices may vary internationally. Enjoy your baby and I hope you get to move into your new house soon!🙏🏾

Yes, there’s no nutrients in water for a baby that young. If you’re breastfeeding you should be drinking plenty of water. If you’re giving formula you’re mixing it with water so that is enough water for your new baby.

I agree Rose should not leave her baby on the edge of the bed. The first time Yue will roll she won't ask permission.😅 I remember they were offered a cot.Why not put Yue in it? As to water , in France we don't give water to babies until they start eating real food, between 4 and 6 months. 😊 But each country has its habits...

Hi Rose... u cannot feed water if the infant is under 6 months... and it is not good... as it dilute the nutrients of the milk. When Babies Can Start Drinking Water A baby should drink only breast milk or formula until they’re six months old. It has all the hydration and nutrition they need in the early months. Even when you start giving them purees or table food at around 6 months of age, breast milk and formula are still more important than water. But you can begin to introduce it. When babies are between 6 and 12 months of age, breast milk or formula continues to be a priority over water. But if you offer breast milk or formula first, you can then offer water, 2-3 ounces at a time. At this age, 4-8 ounces a day of water is enough. More than that may lead to water intoxication.
