Software engineering is the subject that make a cs undergrad hate software industry.. software engineering was never meant to be a subject but a practical coursework in the companies! And even if it is to be teach in the colleges it should be interactive rather than exam oriented approach, (which are actually implemented by foreign universities). For eg--> Course Framework of SE in Stanford Most of the work in this course consists of reading journal and conference papers. We will cover one paper for each class meeting. This class will be primarily discussion based (rather than organized around lectures). Active discussion will (hopefully) give you a non-trivial understanding of the material. The only way this approach can work is if you read the papers carefully. To encourage this, *40% of your class grade will come from class participation* (Given the realities of geography remote SITN students can get their entire grade from exams.) Class time will not be used to rehash the material in the papers. Instead, it will be used to highlight the important points and discuss some of the more interesting features. There will be as much as 10-15 hours of reading per week. Do not take this course unless you are willing and able to do a lot of reading.

Thank you, Ma’am. I got stumbled while solving the following numerical problem which I would sincerely request you to solve - A college wants to develop an automated Examination Tracking System. There are four semesters in the Masters Degree course and at the end of each semester, there will be written examinations. Student Attendance for the exam is recorded through swiping of the ID Card. After the exam, papers are sent to respective examiners for evaluation and marks are recorded. The candidates should be able to download their marksheet. Successful candidates can download their semestral certificates also. The criteria for success are to obtain 40% in each subject and 50% on aggregate. The system is expected to generate the following reports - 1. Attendance details/ summary for each subject in each semester and 2. Performance details/ summary for each subject in each semester.
