Please provide guidance on resignation procedures if I was never given a job contract, only accepted an offer 6 months ago. I was never given a contract, and only recieved payslips twice. Can I resign with immediate effect if I technically am not contractually obligated to the company?

can a company fire you if you take your leave and it has not yet been approved but you have submitted months in advance in south africa

Also, please advise- if one got a new job, signed offer and contract; but the period/ date of employment has not commenced. Is one legally liable if they advise that they will no longer be joining the organisation; even though they had accepted the offer and signed the contract ahead?

Hello again if you manager ask you to work on a public holiday and tell you that you can get a day off is it fair or should the company pay me double

Company has no contract with the client and as a worker no contract for me, loosing all the benefits like uif, medical aid, annual leave, and sick leave and overtime pay, is this lawful?

I had a dispute about change of hours where it changed from 40 to 45 hours..is it legal for a company not to pay you for that 5hrs? What the company I work for is giving contracts now changing roles with no salary increase but increasing the working hours and saying it's a lateral move..

Good day I've been working for my employer since February and I've never gotten a contract. Fast forward, every month, I always have to fight through back and forth whatsapps through my agency and myself and my employer of which, now, I am still waiting for my August salary but I really want to go the legal route. Do I have a case? Legally speaking.

Hi there, based solely on the circumstances you are mentioning, yes you do have a case. You should lodge an internal grievance and if nothing is done then you should refer a case for unfair labour practice. An employment contract is essential and you should ensure that you secure one with your company because that governs the employer/employee relationship
