L2MUM Feature (OH-58D Kiowa Warrior)

Learning to use the L2MUM feature in the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior in this video. It shows a live video feed from unmanned drones as well as other Kiowa’s that are transmitting video and in range of your helicopter. In this video I briefly show you the video from the Unmanned Aerial Drone since I could not do a multiplayer session to show how to receive and transmit from another Kiowa. That will be for the future. In the meantime time this should get you up and running and be able to see and find the targets the Unmanned Arial Drone is transmitting. This is NOT a complete detailed tutorial but it should get you started. If I have made any errors or missed anything please feel free to to leave me a comment. Thank you.

I'm a USCG veteran & Electronic Engineer who loves aviation & Eagle Dynamics Digital Combat Simulator or DCS. I fly laying down in bed due to intense pain fm metal rods & screws in my spine. The head tracking & VR are tuned EXTREMELY sensitive to help me see without having to turn my head much. This shows up on my videos with excess head movement fm side to side & more head movement than normal. I apologize for this since I know it can be hard to watch at times. I am a private pilot & try to use my training when I can! I love flying in VR & believe this is the future for simulators. My videos are for entertainment purposes & NOT instructional! I am Not an expert & this is ONLY a Hobby for me.

There’s a Mod for a Byraktar drone you can fly. I haven’t tried it yet.

What are your graphics/reshade settings? I really love the color grading, almost gives it that MSFS look.

To be honest it’s just stock colors. I don’t have reshade, but need to get it though! I might have selected one of the presets in the DCS settings but I’m not sure. I will have to check and if I do I’ll let you know. The Shorts videos I do select a color filter thats available in the editor when downloading them but the main videos are just stock. I have a MSI RTX 4090 card but no color manipulation software at all.
