In Alipore conspiracy case a man named Narendranath Gossain also arrested and later turned approver and became the crown witness. Now a young revolutionary Kanailal Dutta killed Naren Gosssain inside Alipore jail. The most interesting fact is the revolver smuggled in Alipore jail inside a jackfruit. The house of Kanailal Datta was in Sarisapara , Chandannagar, which is only a few minutes distance from my house.
