@@goldenking2046 Honestly, I think Stheno works better as a divine and/or anti male support than Keisuke does as a Shinsengumi support (not to mention her niches cover a whole lot more ground than his pool of 8 servants including himself). And I remember that for at least one raid event my best team comp was Stheno+Ridertoki+(50% charge support) even if that was a while ago.

Keisuke's crappyness is the opposite of S-Gareth. He has a dis functional kit that doesn't really accomplishes anything, while S-Gareth has a usable kit but struggles to accomplish anything with these stats.

Why am I rolling for him? Because he's pretty and the rest of the Shinsengumi are SO HOT. My 120 Saito is testament to my love. He can be dead weight on the field for all I care, he's MY moral support and all he has to do is sit there and look pretty and goddamn does he look charming with that beautiful NP. And tbh it's kind of funny in a cruel way that he gets in the way of his dear teammates and the one person who's able to tolerate his gameplay is Saito, the one he's arguably closest to.

At worst, Summer Gareth can be a Beatstick, not a particularly great one, but still one that works. But Keisuke's not even very good at that!

Keisuke feels more like that support Servant made for those "Shinsengumi team" comps that only run Shinsengumi Servants. In that comp, the Atk Up is very flexible and his kit allows him to cover a wide berth of Shinsengumi Servants' weaknesses. But he's still a 4* and feels like his kit is purposely nerfed so that he doesn't eclipse a 5* support in terms of performance. AFAIK, most 4* supports are around his ballpark. Not including buffs after his event, ofc.

When is fgo gonna buff bond ces to have higher stats because 2k each would be nice? And changing some old one's effects to better mesh with the servant like asterios his bond ce buffs the party quick effectiveness when he's a berserker with bbbqa deck why not make it cause either confusion paralysis or fear considering your stuck in the inescapable labyrinth about to be eaten.

if u just look at the NP without looking at skills/kit, in the short term or perhaps even in some cases, it's better than Merlin's NP. Merlin needs OC2 to get 10 stars per turn and atk% can be more useful than a measly 1k hp per turn. As a 4* support NP it's really not bad at all. Even arguably good at NP5.

@@Uragaan1 Someone out here arguing one of the best NPs for stalling and general blanket use in CQs in the game at 5 turns compared to plebian 3 turns, ramping up after a few uses and on a servant with more utility on a single of any of his skills compared to poor Keisuke's entire skillset. I get what you're trying to argue but Merlin's not the example I'd have used there, maybe someone like Lanling instead and even then he has Keisuke handily beat.

@@Uragaan1 considering that Merlin's np also heals and charges your gauge per turn and can easily double or even triple stack that, it's a horrible comparison, since the stars per turn is the only thing that's common between the two and even then, it's much easier to stack np with Merlin, so it can become 10 or even 15 stars per turn. Yes, keisuke gives 10% flat charge too, but Merlin again, has the ability to stack the np per turn. Essentially, Merlin enables snowballing better. If you wanna compare keisuke with someone, compare him with Lan ling. Plus, like you said, he needs np5 to get 40% attack up from his np. It's pretty hard to NP5 a 4 star and what you get isn't really special either. A whole lot of sq investment for diminishing returns. I used him quite a bit in my old jp account. So i know how bad he is. The only thing he is decent at is actually solo or anchor and even then, there are way better options

Sorry Gareth, but you don't even get the title of being the worst 4* limited Servant this year. S-Gareth is bad, but her path to viability is very simple buff away. All they'd need to do is up her battery from 20% to 30% and she goes from F tier trash to top of D tier at worst. Even with her low damage. Keisuke needs a full on Emiya level rework to make him useful. Even Sethno, memetically bad as she is, stands above this guy.

Your not wrong, every time someone on the FGO reddit brings up Shinsengumi servants it's always either Saito or Okita and the occasional Hijikata but never Keisuke. I remember when Chaldea Boy's this year for FGO JP had Hijikata, Saito, and Shinpachi in new CE art. Some people were disappointed that Okita wasn't in a suit even though it's Chaldea "Boy's" but completely forgot about Keisuke.
