Seen a couple of videos on this unit but no real view thru the optic, hard to spend the amount of cash on something without only description is that it has great optics, pictures say more than words and maybe this is something to consider.

How much ambient light does this need to function? Been really liking 640 core thermals. In my experience, tubes need active ir light to use at range.

Unless you need a magnum caliber recoil rating, these are better in every way.

If I could make some suggestions concerning video and audio quality : zoom in a bit, you're framing way too wide, so much of the screen is just backdrop, get closer, feels better for the viewer, and we can see better what you're talking about. For audio : get some soundproofing in the room, you guys can probably afford some studio soundproofing foam haha. And run your audio through a noise canceller after recording (Audacity does it well), there's a noticeable background noise.

@@davidmckechnie2640 We would not put these on a SCAR, anything that goes on a SCAR needs to be specifically scar rated. The harmonics are severe and can eat even the toughest optics. If you wanted to use a SCAR we would recommend the PVS-30.

These things are cool however I looked up the price for this and it’s 10,000.00 for that kinda money I can buy a IR scope for 2-3k and a bolt action 308 or AR-10 for 1000.00 and save 6-7 grand. The price is really night imo…
