Sir it is enshrined in the Article 262 (2), as followed by the video, that in case of Interstate water dispute, " Parliament may by law provide that neither the supreme court nor any other court shall exercise the jurisdiction. Has it dwarfed the landmark judgment of Minerva Mills case 1980 wherein the Supreme Court ruled that "Everything in India is under Judicial Review'. Moreover if we consider the 39th CAA 1975, the Supreme Court revoked the amendment, stating to encompass the election of Lok Sabha Speaker and the Prime Minister Of India under judicial review vis a vis Indira Nehru Gandhi vs Raj Narayan case 1975 as judicial review is the part of basic structure doctrine. From above all, does it mean that the original Constitution can't be challenged in the Supreme Court and only the amendments are taken under judicial review ? Is that much recognition is given to the founding fathers of the Constitution, that even Supreme Court considers them sacrosanct? You mentioned that the case of Cauvery water dispute is in the form of appeal in the Supreme Court, ironically, Supreme Court has no jurisdiction on the case. Please help me to understand this.
