Can anyone clear my doubt? 1. In case of federal disputes between centre and state, would the attorney General and the advocate general represent the centre and the state respectively? 2. If the above is true, wouldn't the duty of the advocate general gets affected as he is appointed by the governor and the ad. General holds office at the pleasure of the governor? I mean ,in the recent times the governor often conflicts with the state govt when there is difference in ruling parties at the centre and the state. I just wonder😅

attorny general is the highest law officer of india and to be in that position he should be qualified enough to be the judge of the supreme court. In that case sir, what is the position of CJI? is he not the highest law officer?
