Imp : frame is in main memory and pages is in secondary memory.

clear your concept ,logical address size(which contains pages) is always greater then physical address space(,contains frames,(main memory))

Keshav Damani It is actually called Instruction offset. It refers to the instruction number you want to access or execute.

It is the relocatable address format displacement within that particular page or frame, relative to the instructions in that page or frame

offset =A mod page size this is the distance from the beginning of the page e.g. address in the process, A = 10,000 page size = 4k page offset = 10000 mod 4k = 10,000 mod 4096 = 1908
