sir, when process 'A' is in execution and 'A' requires page 3 for it's execution which is not in a main memory. so my question is CPU searches page 3 in disk or not? what is exact meaning of page fault? Thanks for such nice explanation!

page fault occurs when it first searches or page 3 in main memory but it is not present. If it finds page 3 then it is not a page fault. else if it is, then the page is brought into memory by demand paging.
