virtual memory is not infinite the max u can have is the size of ur secondary memory excluding the space for os,files etc

I think she is not accurate. virtual memory is not same as logical memory. CPU can see logical memory and that address gets mapped. Whereas, the amount of harddrive that a program thinks as main memory is actually known as virtual memory
