Dr Sahab. My Name is Mansoor and live in Australia. My age is 63 years. I had L4/L5 surgery in 1997 and recovered from sciatica pain with few episodes in between 1997 and 2009. In 2009, I had a significant disc bulge (17mm if I remember correctly) with shooting pain in my right leg resulting in neurological deficit in my right leg (I was not aware of these terms at the time of L5/S1 disc bulge) . I did not go to emergency rather opted to go through normal medical procedure here. In short, it took 3 months to be operated here in Sydney). After the surgery, the pain didn't go away and doctors put me on targin (narcotic drug) and lyrica. Im sick of the tablets and I had another MRI few years ago; clearly showing L5/S1 disc protrusion now ever on the left side. So effectively, I have pain & weakness in both legs and getting worst with every passing day. What would be your suggestion? I am ready to come to India for treatment even if there is a small light at the end of tunnel. I know, India is leading world in Spine surgeries. Regards Mansoor
