And then some bands were actually pure feminist people showing kids how should one person be... And now... This is one of those songs. Don't know what it was, we just liked this one. Just saw them live last night (08/12/2016) at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. They were great!!! I cut my trip in New York early to come back to DC just to see them. I only discovered them after playing GTA: SA. Smart move on their behalf for getting in that game. It exposed them to millions of younger people worldwide. I ended up buying all 6 of their albums over 10 years ago.

One of my favorite tunes of all time from anyone, any era, any genre. Rock-solid stuff done right. I think I got pretty toasted one night about 15 years ago and invited them all to dinner at any restaurant of their choice anywhere in LA after listening to this one repeatedly. Somehow Im middle aged, overweight, successful, wealthy and kind of bummed out with life. I'll give up everything I have to go back to the 90s and just live it on a loop. The entire decade. Forever. Thats my idea of heaven.

I was living in Portland, OR and washing dishes for a living at the time. Used to have a transistor radio tuned into a local AM station that called itself "The Beat," and this song was always one of my faves. I treasure the memory of that time in a Rose City that's long gone!
