This is the only person I have heard that can actually play the lead guitar for La Bamba.
@GoGuitarlessons7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Antonio. I could be wrong on the very last section though. It was very difficult to hear on the recording.

If you Google the word "tremolo" there is a button you can push to hear how it is properly pronounced. You might have to do it twice as the first time truncates it and cuts off the "t" sound.
FINALLY! But... there is always a “but”. Can you teach the original Valens solo of La Bamba?

SO COOL !!! but that damned tremolo picking that starts the solo is really hard to play... how many 'up&down' we have to play? I think 24... 3 bars with 16 notes each... or not?

Use your ear. The song is all in c major. He only uses notes from the major scale in his solo. If you get an app/software to slow the music down, like “the amazing slow downer” app it makes it a lot easier too. It allows you to take small chunks and slow them and repeat them so you have time to process the notes being played. The first time is always hard but eventually you won’t need tutorials for most songs, and it’ll get easier each time. It’ll make you a better musician for sure.
