La Candelaria, ship model build log, more planking📌

Hi all! Here is my progress on La Candelaria. The hull takes shape!⚒️
I stopped counting days, as it is now getting more into tiny details, which take way longer than big ones.
I sometimes look for artistic solutions to cover up my lack of woodwork experience. Well, as long as it works...😆

Did you sand it with sandpaper before starting the outer planking? Mine is a bit uneven on the starboard, I wonder if I should sand it before the outer layer or if the outer layer will turn out even anyway

@@СергейПоловинкин-ь7и Yes, I sanded the base planking layer, it was also a bit uneven, and otherwise the top layer wouldn't lay flat. I hope that helps🤗
