Fascinating, brilliantly composed documentary. On one hand, it's wonderful to know that such an ancient people still exists, and are able to maintain their culture of love and respect for the Earth... On the other hand, their strident intensity may be due to being mildly coked up all the time. And growing up in such a rigid, cult-like society probably isn't as fun as it looks...

I did the Lost City 6 day trek and a few of the Kogi kids were hanging out with us eating my trail mix. Such a fun experience. I even bought some indegnous weed on the trek. If your lounging in Taganga, Colombia are almost there.

I think I'd meet them away from the city out of fear they be a repeat of 500 years ago. The 18 year old boy looks like an innocent 3 -5 year old trying a new food for the first time . These people are amazing! I'd like to see an update... I saw one posted 2018. I think I could live a like this. I sure wouldn't have the heart to be digging up graves for gold rings.
