i gotta say, i really appreciate how you'll show settings that actually make the sound worse, instead of only showing the sound get hyped and improved. no plugin is good at everything, and this is helpful in figuring out where a plugin shines, and where it would be inappropriate.

Tone Empire is underrated

@@niklassilen4313 damn I haven't really experienced this with them - I've been a big supporter of Hornet too, but I have experienced this quite a few times with the - not so much tone empire. Which plugs gave you probs?
@kalidesu6 ай бұрын
@@niklassilen4313 I agree this is nowhere near the quality of U-he or DMG. He needs to fix the older plugins than pumping out the same classic compressor copy.

Although I cannot convince anyone either way :) and all opinions are welcome.. I assure you these are not the same compressors as you can very well hear this is a clean modern Vari mu sound. As far as glitches, I think we have evened out mostly all things with our initial Neural releases, except CPU , but now you see this vastly improve in this one :) hence this improvement is coming to all our previous Neural plugins as soon soon as next week. If you really want to criticize , then also listen to what I have to say and actually check out the updates coming next week. Other than that , there are no glitches, our plugins are stable, deliver quality and we take risks with new technology ! that we will always do . Thanks again for checking our plugins and commenting. I welcome it . Cheers

they are not underrated... All major producers, and general users know them. You might be from 2010...lol

Very nice. Including an EQ is smart, because it makes it more of a channel strip; I already have the Mu, but this is still attractive.

No Q settings and no SC filter for the compressor. How come?
@gdayal96 ай бұрын
since the original unit does not have one, we kept true to it. The Eq section is supplementary for broad boost , cuts, not meant to be a surgical eq.. that one is coming ;)
@gdayal96 ай бұрын
@@niklassilen4313 I was able to source the original which does not have the filter. I see that the newer ones do. Yup we got the slowest and fastest settings, we did skip the intermediate ones for now. I think we got the musical space of the compressor pretty much , I hope .. lol :)

The audio demos sound great, but i really wish you wouldn't use such processed drum loops for the demos. I wanna hear how it deals with stuff that NEEDS to be processed. It does sound really cool though, kudos. Def gonna demo it P.s. the recovery on "2" sounds awesome for that 1st drum groove 🤤

@@gdayal9 Any uncompressed drums is fine. And ideally not drenched in saturation Maybe you could grab some sorta royalty-free jazz drums loop, cos usually they're not super compressed

or just grab a professional/finished mix project, and replace the mixbus comp that was chosen (as an example) with the new plugin you’re showing off. Love the plug-in anyways!

Hi! You have to improve the audio silence that occurs in your plugins when you bypass or change parameters. The way they work now, they are not usable for me because they make comparisons much more complicated.

I know the feeling! I've around [pick a galaxy-sized number] of them myself; For what it's worth, I'd advise auditioning this one on a complex master bus, an orchestral piece, a vocal and a loud percussion track, versus your other vari-mu's, such as the 670 or the Manley, and see if this adds something new within your mixing aesthetic. It also helps to check how well the plug handles foldback aliasing, plays with any plugin hosts you have, and also stacked before or after your favorite FET or VCA comps. I've bought some things just because they make my favorite plugs sound even better! Hope that helps -- happy mixing!

All very nice but what average user listening to music on a cell phone will be able to tell the subtle difference? None, I'm just saying...
@gdayal95 ай бұрын
I think it makes a difference vastly as to when a creator is creating, their joy of hearing the sounds change, increases their own conviction in the material so that's most important. This is the same reason artists make a lot of details and effort in any art, its for themselves first. Listeners can hear or not, that comes secondary :) A great question btw , thanks for asking .
