Hi :)
Welcome to disnomia!
So… It’s been a while since Disnomia’s debut and I’ve been busy making their first comeback album, but since I really want it to have great songs, cohesive sound/theme and a nice album cover, I figured out that it would be better to release some of the tracks that are finished to not give you guys/girls a long wait.
This song would be the first pre-release from Disnomia’s first comeback album “Underground” (spoiler), and I really hope you’ll enjoy listening to this song :)
EXPLANATION:
This album “underground” will have lots of reflective songs (La diverstissment) being the first one. The album will contain various reflexions about many different topics that can be slightly uncomfortable, in this case; its about the relationship between celebrities and fans (Focused on Kpop idols/fans) and how it isn’t really healthy (ofc I focused on the bad side and made it a bit dramatic). The song is about how celebrities are idolized by (Kpop) fans, to an excessive point, where they aren’t even considered human, they must be perfect, cause if any mistake happens, it will not be forgotten. This also affects fans, cause once (through criticism) they’ve made their idol perfect, now they watch themselves in comparison and it could be depressing. Another side to the meaning of the song is how we view and consume entertainment (La disverstissment), in this case the song refers as to how we tend to consume it to escape our reality, this alone isn’t unhealthy, but the song talks about the point where this “distraction” starts to become their new reality. The song in general is a criticism to the entertainment industry (and ppl who consume it in an unhealthy manner).
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Before the first chorus there is a line that says “Truth’s I just wanna get d****” ,
It refers as to how fans idolize celebrities and think everything they do is “right”, when in a lot of cases they do things that aren’t considered “right” for a
Kpop Idol to do (but aren’t crimes ofc). In this case drinking is the example.
2. In the chorus there’s a part that says “honestly I don’t know if you…. Want me, desire me, want to be me or envy me.
Refers as to how fans can have different reasons to be fans/attitudes towards the idol
3. In the rap there’s a line that says: “but id appreciate if you appreciated my art rather than my cover”
It refers as to how many fans prioritize visuals over talent/songwriting skills
This were all the Explanations and Specifications I could think of, but if you have any question, don’t doubt to ask me :)
Anyways, thanks for reading all of this and watching the video :)
Also….. pls wait for Disnomia’s new album “UNDERGROUND” I promise it will be released within 2-3 weeks
be keep an eye on the channel and suscribe so you can be here for the upcoming pre-releases :)
