Merry Christmas TVG. Love a festive taste test. These cheeses are outstanding and my favourites. Worth every penny and I'd rather have these once a month then a cheaper supermarket cheese every week. The Shoreditch Smoked and Blue are my favourites. Another level of taste. I got this selection pack for Christmas too as excellent value for money. Heads up the individual packs are 20% off in Waitrose until 20 January...run don't walk! Just to share with everyone not every Waitrose sell La Fauxmagerie cheeses.

Had honestly tasty cheeses this year, made for a nice supper last night which are excellent too. La fauxmagerie is high level cheese, proper, I love it, and the way you enjoyed it, has made me want to go to Waitrose! Happy new cheese, I mean year x

Excellent review, can’t wait till they’re back in stock. I bought the Aldi Christmas selection box, which was really disappointing. All were very samy, just like Jason said. How lucky you are guys ! Here in France, le pays du fromage (land of cheese, as french people love to say), there is absolutly not an offer as you show us. France is so, so so so late about veganism in supermarkets in general. And worst : there is less and less products, as in Lidl where it desappear... We just have to cook our fromages ourselves. I wasn’t able to get my hands on any of the fancy vegan cheeses this year - despite multiple attempts! The brands themselves all sold out online really early in Dec and my local Waitrose in Wilmslow was totally sold out of all the nice brands (La Fauxmagerie, KindaCo, Palace Culture etc). Went to the Cheadle Waitrose on Christmas Eve as a last ditch effort (as I saw on your Waitrose shopping vlog you’d managed to get some) but alas! All sold out 😂 It’s fantastic that the vegan cheeses are selling out so fast but wish the stores would stock more of them. Gonna get some in early January as a new year treat instead 😆

I think I've only tried the blue in this brand before which I wasn't a fan of. Completely agree that quality is better than quantity with vegan cheeses. Hope you both had a good Christmas.

All of your cheeses seemed really good to me. We have a vegan Fauxmagerie store in Sydney and their cheeses are great quality. I waited for many years to get a decent quality cheese, but it was worth the wait. 🧀🧀🧀❤❤

I'm definitely going to try these on your recommendation. I must be a bit weird - but the first vegan cheese I had was Cheezly - before it was adapted to melt, and one week after becoming vegan. I liked it. I'm a cheap date as far as vegan cheese goes. 😂

I used to really love la fauxmagerie, but it's not the same anymore. I've got their cheeses from Waitrose for the last 2 years but I got it directly from them for a few years. I noticed this year that they weren't as good quality as it used to be, it looks like they've changed the recipes as they've amped up production. The camembert used to be made with the same mold/bacteria as the real stuff and had the same gooey texture as the real stuff. This year's still had the mold rind but the inside was like Philadelphia. The blue cheese used to have mold throughout instead of on the outside and just one vein. The smoked is more of a liquid smoke flavour rather than what it used to be. I might order directly from them to see if they have their original recipes still but I'd never get it from Waitrose again.

We tried the blue and smoked over Christmas. I loved the blue, even though I could never eat the dairy version before I became vegan. I was very disappointed by the smoked though. Ours didn't taste at all smokey; it was just an expensive miso-flavoured spread. ☹️
