@@incedoperignes841 un bouquin écrit il y a 4000 ans ? En 2000 avant JC ? de qui ? J'avoue que même en études de philosophie, je n'ai jamais entendu parler des philosophes de l'âge de bronze.... Quand à "détruire cette pensée", la beauté de la philosophie et de la métaphysique particulièrement (dont relève la question du sens de la vie), c'est de n'accéder jamais à une réponse définitive. Je ne suis pas partisan du nihilisme moderne non plus, mais ça reste des idées très intéressantes, qui éclairent la relation que nous avons au monde à l'époque moderne... Certainement pas "de bas étage", quand bien même contestable (comme toute philosophie).

I have an idea that went through my head while I was watching this: So, the philosopher explains that the limits of our world are frustrating us because we always want to expand furthermore and it makes us feel insignificant. After hearing: "and it is therefore through the use of artifices that we manage to disconnect ourselves from this Pascalian reality" the next sequence at 1:19 shows a lot of characters that I think represents all the artifices that we use in our society: in order - the clown and the mîme represent entertainment and distraction, with the banjo representing music and dance. - the girl with the phone represent social medias - well-suited guy with a glass in front of a sculpture represents art, 'la bonne sociétée' and social pressure - guys partying with wine bottle represents well, alcohols, getting drunk - trio partying with masks and disguise represents parties and events - cabaret dancers represent sexuality - guy eating candies represent sugar - TV represent distraction by picture I don't know what the two last characters are supposedly representing The girl singing in white with the blu eyes, I feel like she is the embodiment of everything listed above and that she is trying to drag the philosopher to consume the distractions, to disconnect himself. But he resists and the rhythm going faster show that she is getting more and more desperate to catch him That's my interpretation of the clip, I like it and the music is dope
