These insurance companies are already starting to refuse peoples insurance claims… some of these poor people are never gonna see a penny from the insurance company and that’s just a hard truth

Do they at least get a refund for the money they gave them for something that would never be paid? That's me being petty. Such a disaster.

Home/property insurance only do claims for fire,is only if the fire was caused by someone inside the house,electrical short circuit or mechanical.they will refuse/deny fire claims if the fire is caused by wildfire or a such event like this.they knew this would happen and thats why they can deny this claims.if alot of home owners file a lawsuit,then they can also file bankruptcy just to scape on this.

Of course you have to have insurance the same with earthquake. These people have million dollar mansions and can't even afford normal insurance. Then they cry to us that we have to rebuild their mansions

Everyone blames the insurance companies and not the california government, not providing enough care for the economic fesability of fire prevention. And before you're about to say something about greedy companies, please use some critical thinking skills about what retirements are made out of, understand the ease of saving, and understand the policies implemented and other factors you cannot save.

If you are not in the financial market space right now, you are making a huge mistake. I understand that it could be due to ignorance, but if you want to make your money work for you...prevent inflation

I highly doubt that. Lahaina had many low-income residents. The areas of LA that have burned down are mainly in wealthy neighborhoods. They will rebuild very quickly.

We gave 450 billion to Ukraine so I don’t see why we could do the same here to our own tax payers
@allthingsaudio461011 сағат бұрын
I agree. Payout to those who suffered losses should be automatic. Michael Jackson said it best "All I Really Wanna Say Is They Don't Really Care About Us". Is so sad the world we live in these days.
