Your "Halleluia" dance with Guillaume is one of the most beautifully expressive that I have scene. As a gay man, "Thank you."

I've translated Arthur's review into English for anyone who doesn't understand French. I still don't understand how they could get four "Yesses" from the judges and yet the producers tell them they could not advance. : - / - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "We were invited to audition for "France has Incredible Talent". People from the casting who saw our "Hallelujah" video. We created the choreography quickly enough with Matthew Richardson; he is the foundation of this whole project, and the one who approached us with Guillaume because he wanted to propose something to us: we are going to present a number against homophobia. It is a performance against homophobia but in the end, our main objective in this is that we really wanted to be authentic in the representation of our relationship, and also in the representation of a gay couple. It is important to be comfortable with loving anyone, whether it is a man or a woman. It would be just great if people could go through life without necessarily having to say to themselves "I am this" or "I am that" and that we could live in a world where we can just be open to loving those whom we meet. It was so very important that we present this kind of message and it was also great to have this kind of program that has the initiative to request numbers like that. There was water on the ground just before we got on stage, and Guillaume walked in, and we entered, we were wiping our feet, I don't know if we see him on the video but there was a moment during the number when he slipped because of that. That moment was a little ... Yeah ... I think I was moved for several reasons. I really felt naked on stage, the most that I felt in my career -- to not only be with my guy on stage to convey this message, to perform a number that is a bit out of my comfort zone. I was really touched by the reaction of the public. There were young children, there were old people, there were black people, there were white people. And all the people there who stood up, who gave their support -- it really touched me. It was Helene Segara, I remember, who said something that I found really relevant: that there are young people who are going to look at this, and maybe it will be the first time they see two people of the same sex kissing. And surely it's important that it was also included. We talked about that kiss just as we were making the video. We wanted it to be clear that it is two men and that it is yes, a friendship, but that it is really a romantic relationship too. Even though we had four "Yesses", it did not guarantee that we would necessarily continue on the show. The judges and the producer meet once everything has been filmed. Apparently that wasn't clear to the judges ... we were not chosen to continue, in fact. Basically, in the end we were called back just before the semi-final registration to tell us that there had been a withdrawal, and to offer us to take this spot. Obviously, we were in Montreal; we hadn't prepared a number because we thought we weren't part of it anymore. We could have gone on and it hurt my heart a little to disappoint the people who were possibly waiting for us on the show. I think the most important thing is that we have the opportunity to present this issue and share this message. That's the main thing, anyway; the competition is secondary for me I think. We received zero, not one single message of hate or anger; Guillaume and I really received only messages of support, messages from people who said that it helped them. Anyway, even if we just had one good reaction and ten bad ones, it would have been worth it ... Yeah ..."

I'm so so glad that you translated this Review!! Thank you so much! I was listening to Arthur speaking, ( but unfortunately I don't speak French) and something seemed odd to me, I felt that He was acting somehow disappointed, and worried and sad. Then, I scrolled down the comments trying to find out if someone translated the video, and YESS! I found You! So, THANK You a Thousand Times, for giving the rest of the World access to this material. Now we know what really happenned! Love You for your kindness!!! Cheers from Brazil!!!
