Heard about Girl from a Def Lep book, found them here on Y.T. and they totally kicked ass! Way ahead of their time and never got credited for what they did. Saw Phil Lewis at Midway airport in Chicago last year. I was so starstruck I could barely talk, he took pictures with me and was a super cool guy. Going to see them tonight in Dallas TX.

@@innayan987 If bands don't achieve a certain amount of success, they typically don't stay a band for long. Perhaps someone who's discovered them after their heyday wouldn't mind that Girl didn't achieve a level of success that would have kept them together, but people who were fans back in the day almost certainly did.
