POWDER CANYON is in La Habra Heights and is owned by the Puente Hills Habitat Preservation Authority and offers many options for outdoor activities. La Habra Heights also has “The Park” located on Hacienda Blvd. The Park is host to many community events including the Dog Days of Summer, MUSIC IN THE PARK CONCERT SERIES and the Avocado festival among others. We also are home to the HACIENDA GOLF CLUB which was designed by Alphonso Bell back in the 1920′s. The first real clubhouse was built in 1927 & then completely renovated in 2006 and in its 80 year history the layout of the golf course has remained the same and has hosted golf legends Tiger Woods & Gene Sarazen. The course is also host to golfing events such as The McGregor, The Jewel and The Fiesta.
