Amy Mum was so happy to see the end of me on the horizon, my bedroom was given to my brother & his room became her crafts room before Thanksgiving… Our town & county sucked so bad, I skipped my graduation, ate a lobster, & had left the province before the prom. I remember the empty nest times and they were hard to get through, but I promise you it will get better and better. My husband and I were always close but when we were left all alone with an empty house it did take awhile to get used to it. It is another chapter to look forward to! We have grandchildren now and love every minute of it!! You are still not far from Zoe and could go when you want to. You found a lot of fun things while shopping, can't wait for some videos!! We used to use weighted vests for our kids at school that needed their nervous systems calmed. It’s a great solution. I remember the quiet house was the worst. My kids are only a year apart so it felt like it got quiet overnight when they went to college. It gets better. Thanks for sharing all the goodies Abby.

Abby!! Thank you SO much for the info on the pillow!! I am also a side sleep and have a lot of arthritis in may neck, so this the may be the ticket!! (too late for the wrinkle issue 😩) Thank you for the $10.00 coupon as well!!! I remember how tough it was to leave my last daughter at college Freshman year - she was crying in the parking lot, and I cried the whole way home.... The good news is that they come back!!! Yay!! THEN, you need to get used to their schedules again - "sometimes" disruptive to getting a good rest!! Daughters are precious, and even now, mine continue to need my advice and I know I can turn to them as well - what a blessing!!! Please tell Steve we are so sorry about how New Orleans has taken a bad hit again this time - know they are resilient folks, however, and they will recover as soon as possible!! That is so funny! I graduated from Loyola Chicago and went to both Loyola New Orleans and Loyola Chicago. Now Zoe is going to LMU and I am trying to convince Emmet to go to Loyola Baltimore for grad school so we hit ALL of the Loyolas! AND yes- I know everything will work out and I am so so happy for Zoe. It is just a big adjustment and wish this house did not feel so empty and sad. LOL! I just got to Facetime Zoe and she is doing great and we chatted just like normal!! So that helps!!! So glad to be back and have lots of fun stuff to share! Where did it go!! I just read it and wanted to click the link... that actually sounds amazing and I think it will also help with my grinding my teeth.
