It’s crazy that surf is right by La Jolla Cove, it’s wild how every once in awhile it explodes like that.

For sure . That day blacks wasn’t working so I drove to La Jolla shores and was some nice like 6 ft waves, then you could see those giant waves in distance at the cove. Can see a real short clip at start from that angle . One photographer I chatted with had a telephoto lens and got pics from that angle and looked insane, could really see the shape of the waves better 0:47
